Hindmarsh Builders and all Queensland projects were expecting a large scale cyclone projecting for the east coast of Australia. Due to the aggressive nature of the cyclone, all swing stages and temp scaffold were to be dismantled and made safe.
Hindmarsh would only then allow rope access technicians to complete the project as it was closely reaching handover stage. The following trades engaged Converge Services for the following scopes;
Brisbane Precast Scope of Works
- Horizontal / Vertical external precast control joint caulking (Acrylic fireproof sealant)
- Large external slab end infills (Patch panel repair mortar)
- Numerous concrete repairs to damaged precast panels (HB40 Repair mortar)
- Mechanical cleaning of any imperfections and slurry off external panels
Hitec Glazing Scope of Works
- Access and installation of spandrel glass to external facade
- Access and installation of aluminium vertically hung facade blades
- Lock rubber installation
- Glazing channel installation
- Condensed work program, 10 hour shifts in harness, 9 rope techs in total
